*Fill body with polyfil
25. Dec until bottom is closed
*Put a small amount of hot glue between the base of the head and the front of the neck, then press and hold them together until the glue has dried. Do the same thing for the back of the neck and the top/base of the body. This will create the curved look of the neck.
Legs:
*Rounds; pink yarn
1. Create a 3 sc ring (3)
2-11. 1 sc (3)
*Make two. Cut and insert jewelry wire into legs, then stitch legs to body. Bend leg to desired shape.
Feet:
*Rounds; pink yarn
1. Create a 5 sc ring (5)
2. 1 sc, ss and 1 dc, ss and 1 dc, ss and 1 dc, 1 sc
*Make two. Hot glue the feet to the legs. Be careful with how much hot glue you use, you do not want to use too much or it will look sloppy!
Tail feather:
*Rounds; light pink yarn

4. 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc (12)

*Stitch to backside of body
Beak:
*Rounds; black yarn
1. Create a 3 sc ring (3)
2. [2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc] one time around (4)
3. [2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc] one time around (5)
*Switch to white yarn
4. [2 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc] one time around (7)
5. [2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc] one time around (9)
*Use white yarn to stitch beak to face. Use black yarn to create the line on each side of the beak.
Under eyelids:
*Rows; white yarn
1. Ch 2 (2)
*Make two. Stitch these to the inside/bottom of each eye, just above the beak.
Wings:
*Hot glue the pink feathers around the body to create the desired look.
Rose:
*Use embroidery needle to create rose and leaves on her head. It was my first time making a hand embroidered flower, so I searched on YouTube and found a great tutorial! There are many to choose from. :)
