Chubby Baby Porg Crochet Pattern

Supplies/materials:

Poly-fil stuffing, scissors, 3.75 mm crochet hook, plastic yarn needle, metal yarn needle, hot glue gun with glue, medium weight yarn (brown, white orange), 6 mm safety eyes, orange felt



Key:

ch = chain

sc = single crochet

1 sc = one single crochet in each stitch until end of round

2 sc = two single crochet in each stitch until end of round 

ss = slip stitch

1 dc = double crochet

(x) = the number of stitches you should have after finishing each round

Dec = decrease stitch


Head/body:

*Rounds; brown yarn

1. Create a 6 sc ring (6)

2. 2 sc (12)

3-4. 1 sc (12)

5. 2 sc, 1 sc (18)

6-8. 1 sc (18)

9. Dec, 1 sc (12)

*Insert safety eyes and fill body until firm

10. Dec until bottom is closed


Feet:

*Rounds; orange yarn

1. Create a 3 sc ring (3)

*Don't connect the ring, use hot glue to place the feet, then stitch the ends of the yarn into the body to hide them.


Wings:

*Rounds; brown yarn

1. Create a 6 sc ring (6)

*Don't connect the ring, use hot glue to place the wings, then stitch the ends of the yarn into the body to hide them.


Tail:

*Rounds; brown yarn

1. Create a 2 sc ring (2)

*Don't connect the ring, use hot glue to place the tail, then stitch the ends of the yarn into the body to hide them.


Belly:

*Rounds; white yarn

1. Create a 6 sc ring (6)

2. 2 sc (12)

*Use hot glue to attach


Mouth:

*Rows; white yarn

1. Ch 5 (5)

*Use hot glue to attach


Felt pieces: Cut two small circular pieces from the orange felt and hot glue them right above each eye.
