Head/body:

*Insert safety eyes and fill head with poly-fil

*When you cut the yarn, make sure to leave about a 12 inch tail to work with to create the lines on the pumpkin body. Use your metal yarn needle to stitch in 3 lines on the front of the body and 3 on the back of the body. Pull the yarn tight each time you go in and out to create the pinched shape of a pumpkin.
Legs:
*Rounds; black yarn
1. Create a 6 sc ring (6)
2-3. 1 sc (6)
4. 2 sc in the first, second and third stitches, then end the round (9)
*Use black yarn to stitch legs to body
Arms:
*Rounds; black yarn
1. Create a 5 sc ring (5)
2-4. 1 sc (5)
*Use black yarn to stitch arms to body
Tail:
*Rounds; black yarn
1. Create a 4 sc ring (4)
2-11. 1 sc (4)
*Use black yarn to stitch to body. Optional: Before stitching to body, insert jewelry wire or pipe cleaner to give shape to the tail, then stitch to body.
Ears:
*Rounds; black yarn

*Use black yarn to stitch to head
Pumpkin cap:
*Rounds; orange yarn
1. Create a 5 sc ring (5)

*Use hot glue to attach to head
